a beauty out on the hill today. and once again the king's men put the mtn back together. just skied the east side in the morning. a uniformly consistent nicely groomed flat & fast across all open trails on bear, needles & supe with chunks developing in some sections. i'd call a beautifully groomed middle o into lower supe rotd. a rope across nivis limited the traffic so it was still stripes after 11. anything ungroomed was closed and would be very manly. certainly lost a lot of snow but there's a good solid base waiting the next dump. also with warmish temps forecast for wed & thurs, perhaps some nats could soften up.
