well mama nature keeps messin' w/ us. thirsty thursday bum day at pico. light drizzle & dense fog in the am. hero snow in abundance on pico's limited terrain. lotsa fun ripping high speed turns on the upper mtn groomers. a toe dip into the nats revealed rather sticky snow that just needed to be skied in. unfortunately today's hero snow usually becomes ... well you know the tune. noticed lots of nats opened at k. probably a good day as well. sun finally made an appearance late in the day.

Looking at the forecast for tomorrow looks like I will stay in the flat lands. Late freeze will limit grooming and produce chatterroy on the trails that are groomed early. Next week looks like spring conditions, but winter is supposed to return toward the end of the month for at least 4 weeks. Time will only tell...

Late Day Report: If nothing else, I missed the morning drizzle. Pretty warm with decent to good visibiity.

Didn't have much time so mostly did some laps off Superstar chair with one excursion to Bear and last cabin run into the canyon.

ROTD: Double Dipper. Had heard it was good so ended my day on it. Really nice.

With one exception, everything else skied the same including middle O, SS, Skye Lark, Bittersweet, and Stash -> WIldfire. Skye Hawk was a bit manky (narrow skis didn't help) but very doable.

Noticed a few other natural trails open including Escapade and Somewhere.

It's gonna set up sometime tomorrow (Friday).
