Should I bother with snow tires at this point?
I still haven’t swapped out my all-season tires for my snows. I almost did in preparation for this weekend but figured I could get by without. Now with the incoming blowtorch/r*in, I gather we’ll be into March before winter returns.
Is there any hope for weekend winter driving conditions????

Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, then overwhelm you with their experience.

It will need 4 new skins in the spring.

keep in mind that the wetter march snow can be some of the greasiest, snottiest, slippery sh*t going. i wouldn't
risk it with kids in tow.

I have a 4x4 as well but it sucks in the snow with the stock 20” wheels and Goodyear fortera tires.SnoBrdr wrote:I never put mine on but at least I have a 4x4.spanky wrote:I still haven’t swapped out my all-season tires for my snows. As of now, I’m leaving them off. Maybe March will force me to reconsider.

I think it’s a combination of the tire profile and such poor winter traction by the forteras. My Blizzaks are mounted on 18” wheels. Night and day difference.SnoBrdr wrote:I only have 18s,maybe smaller helps ?spanky wrote:I have a 4x4 as well but it sucks in the snow with the stock 20” wheels and Goodyear fortera tires.SnoBrdr wrote:I never put mine on but at least I have a 4x4.spanky wrote:I still haven’t swapped out my all-season tires for my snows. I have bailed on snow tires so far this season. Haven't had much snow otg at home, and weekend trips to K this year haven't been snowy.

Are the Blizzaks strictly a winter tire or all year round.spanky wrote:I think it’s a combination of the tire profile and such poor winter traction by the forteras. Oh yes. Very soft. Warm weather/pavement eats them up.SnoBrdr wrote:Are the Blizzaks strictly a winter tire or all year round.
