Ask K Forum coming to an end

The Ask Killington Forum is officially ending as of today. Tom Horrocks advised via e-mail:

"Due to a number of various reasons, we will no longer be participating in the Ask Killington section of KZone.
Thanks"

We believe Killington is making a mistake in closing off this vehicle for communication with a core group of customers, however critical many users of this board may be of Killington's decisions during this past year. The users of this board represent a significant cross section of Killington's core skiers - those who register and post and those who merely read but don't even register. This board also has a significant following of local Killington residents and Killington employees, some registered users and posters, others merely lurkers. At a time when communication and the ski area's relationship with the community has been questioned, and at a time when the community (through the VCRD process) has identified improving communication and the relationship as a key priority, it seems counterproductive at best to kill off a vehicle (uncomfortable as this vehicle may be) for communication.

Based on Killington Ski Area's decision, we are locking this forum but leaving it up for historic purposes.
