To the left in topic column. What is their significance? I see blue ones, red ones, and some with scrolling lines. Is there a legend for these somewhere?

red= recently added to...
scrolling= 'hot topic' more than 50 posts

lightbulb icon or other = its an announcement/sticky

Also, you can choose a different setting that will make everything look like the "old board", with none of these confusing symbols you mention. . . . .
