I've got some old K brochures with pix. (Could scan them)

It cost too much money to tear down the Northbrook terminal; plus they now use it for storage of existing cars.

There's also a spool with 4 tons of original cable located near the top of Great Eastern, just off to skier's right.

It was much slower, longer, and COLD

When they ripped them down... they had a bunch of the cabins in the bear mountain parking lot. It looked like a number of them were more or less torched off the cable and dropped... they were pan cakes

If only i had my truck and license back then.... i'd have one on the back of our sunrise porch right now... only if. I dont think that would be a cumminity violation or anything, huh?

Damn... i wish i had one.... if you could even FIND one current day, it would probably cost a fortune.. . damnet damnet... damnet.

Oh yea... they did not open and close autimaticly... you were locked in and let out by an attendent with a key.

edit: orange, yellow, or both? Can i come over and hot box one... it should only take 1/2 as long as it would to 'box' the new 8 person cabins

where did you score them, and for how much, free?
