Just saw that on FOX. I haven't read the story....but if they don't like it...why would they have joined?

A judge was on FOX saying these soldiers really don't have much of a case.

We're all very very different. But there is one thing that we all have in common - we were all stupid enough to enlist in the Army.

Wow, Reporter Fed those questions about armor to the soldiers. Turns out only soldiers could ask questions so he had them ask for him.

Did the reporter also ask everyone to clap after the question?
As well as chuckle when Rumsfeld ask him to repeat the first part?
Who wouldn't clap if a 24 year old army specialist was grilling the secretary of defense. I would clap.. The guy is a Dick.

That's not the point. Do you think it's OK for the media to create the news they cover? Doesn't the Dan Rather memo even remotely sound like what this reporter did. If I recall it was the same song then it dosen't matter because the story is true. Well it does matter when you have the main stream press doing everything it can up to and including creating the news they cover to undermine the efforts of the United States.

I have no problem with the question and neither did Rumsfeld, he answered it. If the solider had come up with the question on his own it would have been news, it was scripted by the media covering the event as news thats a farce. DMC, I sometime wonder how far you'll back things that are so obviously wrong as long as they are detrimental to the efforts of the current administration, an administration that was elected by the MAJORITY of the people in the United States, for the first time since 1988 when George Sr. beat Dukakis, another liberal Mass Democrate, coincedence ...I think not.

Here's a point that the Liberals have to understand if they ever hope to have a chance of winning in the National Forum....now pay attention this is going to hurt

All your conservative diatribe aside... Got to be honest - it's getting tougher and tougher to read your stuff... Your grasping at straws now... And your attacks are a little unwarrented - without at least allowing me to get my opinion out...

Now on to the deal....
These reporters are embedded with these guys... They basically live with them - eat with them - sleepnext to them - stand next to them when they fight and mourn when they die...
And they hear what their concerns are - first hand... That being said - why not help a soldier formulate a pithy question to Dumsfeld???
Do you think that soldier has no integrity??? Is that what your saying??
Do you think that soldier was paid or coerced in some way to take the opinion of the reporter???
Cause to me - that would be wrong...
They were not even in country yet, they were in Kuwait. The reporter spent a few hours with this soldier becuase he requested an esscort, I am sure he manipulated the young man by scaring the sh*t out of him...it is definately not news worthy. Don't get me wrong, they need the armor.
