As an initial aside can you image the media indignation if Mitt Romney had an FEC listed campaign money bundler like your much loved former AND PRESENT DEMOCRAT CAMPAIGN MONEY bundler for Obama, Jon Corzine (former DEMOCRAT US Senator and New Jersey Governor), who as a head of a hedge fund, MF Global, took over 1.2 billion dollars of investor segregated funds and made them vanish, listed as an a supporter? I think it would be a media story every day until the election. I think it would be enough to defeat Romney in itself. I have not heard it in the mainstream media in the slightest. You think its still not somehow important? Sorry ABC, NBC, CBS and NYT no longer gatekeep the media. Must be the evil "Fox News".

The politicians trying to scale back the unsustainable welfare state (which does not even have to pay for the natural order of histories defense which we cover them on) are being defeated as I expected then the only outcome will be a new Weimer republic and as Marc Faber has cautioned war will come. The debt and inevitable debt monitzation will not help for long. Dont you all realize the Fed is buying 70% of US debt with money we are printing? FACT. WE ARE "PRINTING" MONEY TO BUY OUR OWN DEBT. The media does not cover it because a democrat is in office under the "rationalization" that the FED is somehow a "private" cartel of banks chartered by the US government. This is true only in the most superficial examination. The only reason this is not "news" is the media has decided this will not help the narrative that supports their ideological preference which is represented by "progressives" like Obama. Where his the money going that would have been buying this treasury debt? Into the stock market pumping it up. We have been living in a false reality enabled by a past generous demographic profile and the dollars status as the worlds reserve currency and the promises must be broken. The cake is a lie but you should have known better. Jerseyguy has to let me know how our already hyperproportional taxation system can possible deal with the math. Its all about politicians buying votes with debts than cannot possible be repaid. If you think it will not somehow effect skiing you are a fool.

You are dreaming if you think true environmentalists have any intention of letting you continue skiing on state and federal lands currently leased. Their goal and the goal of the democrats they pump campaign money into is to get rid of you. Wake up. They would rather design welfare money for the displaced workers benfits than have you continue to "despoil" the environment. Skiing is an enemy of progressives. All the cars traveling to all the ravaged mountains is the enemy. Wake up.

I don't think ski areas are going anywhere any time soon. Or ever...
I think we need to weigh out environmental impacts any time we build something.
