I've always assumed 'snowflake' was a term used to refer to a someone prone to taking offence. You mean it's only a term to describe one's reaction after taken offence?
more like one who melts down at the slightest hint of something they find "offensive"...few of us are immune to taking offence...

I don't see anything wrong with taking offence and voicing displeasure about it in a measured manner appropriate to the perceived "offense"...
Having seen Roger Waters live and familiar with the cost of his tickets ... I'd say these folks qualify as snowflakes.
why? cuz they were willing to forfeit a few bux? I think you just want to apply that word here regardless of whether it fits...have at it...

contrary to what you may imagine MOST people do not diligently study every word of every song in an attempt to engross themselves in the artists "message", many simply like the sounds they hear and give it no further thought...and when they go to see a live performance they expect to hear something similar to those sounds they like, not some wealthy out of touch musician pontificating on the world as it should be...

as the word gets out there will be fewer and fewer reacting this way as they simply won't go in the first place...will it matter to waters? hardly? will it matter to anyone else? hardly...does roger waters political opinion matter? hardly...

there's always a backlash to mixing politics and business/entertainment, the effect of that backlash however varies greatly, see the dixie chicks...

Waters has used his art as an outlet for his political beliefs for half a century. To the people who identity with those beliefs, yes his opinions matter. Same goes for numerous other greats.

Yes, it is obvious, but it certainly didn't come across in madhatters post that he realized or believed that. That's why I made the comment.

People obviously gave a sh*t about Trump's political beliefs prior to him running for office. Musicians are no different.

If the allegations are true about Junior being prompted by the Goldstone email to go to Russia with a goal of obtaining Russian government information against the Clinton campaign, he's in some big trouble.

Let me guess, Trump senior knew nothing about it?

Your words
are you REALLY this dimwitted? it goes w/o saying that to people who agree w him he matters, to everyone else not so much...he's a musician, an entertainer.. he's not a political wonk or pundit...he's not someone who has held any sort of office or official position from which to provide perspective...he's a relative nobody in the world of politics...

did you really imagine you made some kind of great revelation by stating:
Waters has used his art as an outlet for his political beliefs for half a century. To the people who identity with those beliefs, yes his opinions matter. Same goes for numerous other greats.
it's the equivalent of saying that your kids opinion matters to you... :bang

again w the comprehension thing huh? why must everything you see or read be distorted by the lens of progressive wishful thinking? can you not differentiate between a russian citizen and a russian govt official? you don't even have to, it's already been stated clearly for you, all you need to do is read for comprehension...

few are paying any attn to the lyin' king obama despite his desperation to remain relevant...same goes for the rest of the democrat party...

DNC Chair Tom Perez can't seem to say who the 'voice' or 'face' of the Democratic Party is

If wandering down the street in a vagina hat while shouting “hey hey ho ho” won elections, the Democrats would have nothing to worry about. Everyone acknowledges that leftists - who seem to have an awful lot of free time during what are normally work hours - are great at putting on a show. Marching, protesting, and rioting have become staples of the Dems’ base. Unfortunately, outrage hasn’t equated to votes.

Dems are currently at their lowest level of power in almost a hundred years.

Hatter,

The allegations are that JR received an email requesting a meeting to discuss Russian government information against Clinton. If anything he should have gone to the FBI about this email.

But, he admitted he chose to go to Russia with Kushner and Manafort to seek out this information. The information he sought was supposed to be tied to the Russian government. This is an attempt at collusion.

Let me put this in terms you hopefully understand. Say, you finally get tired of the Mrs turning down your creepy advances and you respond to a Craigslist add for sexual services. You go to a hotel expecting to find a prostitute. You arrive and instead of encountering the prostitute, the police are there and you get arrested for solicitation. The crime is done. You can't just tell the judge there was no prostitute there, so you are innocent.

This is exactly what Junior admitted to doing. He was looking for Russian government intelligence information to use against Clinton. That is corruption and attempted collusion. To top it all off he's been lieing since the campaign and beyond that there was never an attempt to work with the Russian government.

The whole Trump clan are as dirty as can be. And before you blurt Hillary out of your mouth, she isn't President. And if she is guilty of something similar, she should go to jail as well.
