from what i read a sear mod would cause the entire mag to empty after the first shot, vs selective fire allowing to stop and start...I really don't know enough about all of that to say for sure...pretty sure a sear mod can be accomplished w a dremel tool quite easily whereas a selective fire mod requires "parts" that I would assume are not readily available to the public ( i could be wrong there too, and this guy apparently was wealthy and traveled a lot so he may have had the means to get them)Dr. NO wrote:initial reports states the rifles were sold as semi-automatic and then modified to go full auto. Considering the influence Russian attempted to exert via Facebook ... is it beyond the pale to think Russia on an alternative state sponsor could fund/support these types of atrocities in the hope of destabilization?
