UNITED NATIONS (AP) -- After just five months on the job, John Danforth, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, has resigned from his post, his spokesman, Richard Grenell, said Thursday evening.

Interesting.... I was hoping that whole mess wouldnt involve any Americans...
Quitting will not absolve him from any past transgressions...

True.

I actually saw a special where it is "rumored" that a man Clinton pardoned during his presidency was involved in the UN oil for food scandal. I didn't watch the special, nor do I remember the network it aired on (I think FOX) but I just thought I'd note that.
