I'm sure if they both played for your Gmen you'd never watch the Giants again and burn all your jerseys, right?

The NFL is entertainment. Why should I care about the ethics and morality of football players any more than I care about the ethics and morality of rock & roll musicians. It's not like the Giants don't have just as many roid rage wife beaters and felons as any other team. NFL football is a violent game and most of the players don't bear very close scruitiny.

The Giants do not employ that type of person . That is why they released Burress in the first place. I don't think they were sincere in their efforts to sign him as they low balled him and knew he wouldn't accept the offer. It was more of a PR move. Also you'll notice as good as LT was on the field you never see him anywhere near the owners or organization.

Don't think this is quite the same thing, but thanks for playing, anyway.

NO, BUT THEY ARE... ..just the fact that they drew the comparison said it all. And Geoff the link you posted is exactly the reason LT is nowhere near the organization these days.

I still Kringe when I see or think about him breaking the Washington Quarterback's leg. NASTY video, but they kept on showing it. Didn't he have a few drug issues after his career ended also?

You claimed that "even ESPN can see how it's the same thing". ESPN's own article -- the one you posted! -- went out of its way to say that they AREN'T the same thing.

Why is this so difficult for you to understand?

So will the Giants be releasing Diehl in the next few weeks? Or will you simply stop watching the Giants since they employ these types of players?

You think running a dog killing , illegal gambling operation also the same thing as having too much to drink ? Really ! Nonbody was injured ,nothing was killed.. No harm, no foul...... so ..nothing to see here ...carry on !
