Great move by the Seahawks for a couple of reasons. First reason is word on the street is that Harvin is the 2nd coming of Terrell Owens in regards to being a locker room cancer . So secondly , if you want to dump him to a place where you'll be picking VERY EARLY with the traded draft pick the Jets look to be a good choice ! Win-Win for the Hawks and more stupidity for the J-e-t-s .Bubba wrote:A conditional mid-round draft pick next year for Percy Harvin now? Go figure...

This is a match made in heaven with Rex Ryan. This guy will be just as cancerous to the team as Ryan is.Atomic1 wrote:Harvin is the 2nd coming of Terrell Owens in regards to being a locker room cancer . Re: Epic J-E-T-S fail
I don't think Rex Ryan is a cancer. I just think he is a weak offensive coach who should never have been promoted beyond defensive coordinator. He's shown to be very bad at developing quarterbacks in a league that is quarterback-dominated.
Re: Epic J-E-T-S fail
Geno Smith is not an NFL QB and after throwing 3 straight interceptions vs. Buffalo he might not start for the Jets again. How many Qb's have the jets had since they made the playoffs ? At least a dozen different guys have started in the last 10 years. Just imagine if they 1 good QB during that time and used all those top draft picks and FA $$ on various positions. So is it time to clean house AGAIN , starting with the coach ?

They HAD a good QB, his initials we MS and Ryan's mishandling of him along with the NY media, ran him out of town.Atomic1 wrote:Geno Smith is not an NFL QB and after throwing 3 straight interceptions vs. Buffalo he might not start for the Jets again. Vick didn't do that well in the end either.

Re: Epic J-E-T-S fail
Googled Going back to 2004 , the QB's name and # of starts , Testaverde 11 , Carter 3 , Penington 32 , Bollinger 9 , Clemens 9, Farve 16 , Sanchez 62, McElroy 1 , Geno Smith 24, Vick 1, . So thats 10 different guy's that have started games since 2003. Comparing that to the other NY team with whom they share the stadium, Eli was drafted in 2004 and has started every game since.
I only counted Game STARTS for the Jets , not guys that took an occasional snap like Tebow but still the number of QBs in 10 years is crazy. Just thought of another guy who took a snap or two at QB for the Jets by the name of Brad Smith . Meanwhile will Phil Simms kid who is on the practice squad for the Jets be the next starter ? Why not !
Make it 11 starters , Add Mark Brunell as another Qb who started a game as Brunell started the last game of the 2010 season for Sanchez vs. the Bills !

The Sports Pope gives it to the Jets.

Re: Epic J-E-T-S fail
Sanchez looked good leading the other Green team to Victory . But back to the Jets ,why don't the Jets let Matt Sims play ?

Sanchez doesn't fix computers. He is a quarterback.SnoBrdr wrote:Foles broke his collarbone, Sanchez is now IT.XtremeJibber2001 wrote:

Re: Epic J-E-T-S fail
We'll see what he's got. A lot of positive spin today after his performance yesterday. Given Foles is a relatively average QB, I don't think we'll see that much of a drop off. I'm more concerned about Ryans injury.SnoBrdr wrote:Foles broke his collarbone, Sanchez is now IT.
Re: Epic J-E-T-S fail
The knock on Sanchez as a Jet was arm strength . So give teams a chance to adjust their Defense and then we can judge . But the new BEAST in the NFC looks like the RAMS !
Lates word is LB DeMeco Ryans has an Achilles tendon injury that could end his season .
