Battle of the Great Lakes, War of 2016

Post by f.a.s.t. »

Great game last night. The North Coast Tribe dominates, shutting down the Blue Jays clubs. Pitching, defense and the long ball wins. The tribe has a 7 game winning streak going, have not lost a game in October.

Day 2 Battle of the Great Lakes, more pitching and defense. Miller time, has struck out 10 of the 12 batters he has faced in the four innings over battles one and two. Has 17 strike outs in 7 2/3 innings this post season-on a playoff record pace: lights out.

More pitching, defense, long ball and now add speed and base running. First inning blood was flowing and then Warrior Napoli's club comes alive in revenge. Chief Tito makes all the right magical moves again using trickery too (Indians have always liked trickery and magic) the closer to set up and the set up to close. Day four of the battle is the time to go for the kill, have no mercy and take no prisoners. Go North Coast Tribe, may soon be aiming their arrows on bear cub hunting all along the shores of the Great Lakes.

If they shut it down tonight they could be sitting for almost a week for GM1 of the WS. Never much liked when teams that are hot sit that long. Hoping to see CLE / LAD.

During the game last night the telecast went three times to the Merry Arts Pub and Grille and showed the Tribe fans on a rampage. It's in Lakewood, Ohio where I was born and lived till about 11. An internet search found that it was about a 5 minute walk from where we lived. Pictures of the place show a brick block of buildings where it's located on Detroit Avenue, I remember those buildings. I will have to go there someday.

Interesting that you could claim to support the Indians based upon how many your forebearers slaughtered, including women and children.

As Jibber pointed out, a 'cease-fire' in wartime can bring deadly results.
Congrats to the Cuyahoga on scalping the offense-less birds.

Indians don't scalp animals and cease fire happens only after victory. After they harvest their prey, they give thanks to their spirit and consume them. The Great North Coast Tribe is back in their wigwams feasting on bird and resting. They are sitting by their council fires contemplating, dancing and chanting to the bear spirit for a successful hunt along the North Shores. No other animal is more respected and legendary amongst all the Tribes then bears and their offspring. They are sharpening their spears and arrows and increasing their dreams and magic. Bears are getting fat and lazy and will soon go into hibernation, but not before the biggest feast of all.

Would you two get with it? The North Coast Tribes called reefer "kinnikinnick". It was really bearberry and when smoked resulted in wild dreams. They preferred regular tobacco in their pipes around their council fires. Their pipes were also tomahawks, a bowl on one end and a hatchet blade on the other. The hatchet for war, the pipe for peace after war.

Maybe he's just on the same high that his forebearers got when they slaughtered all those Indian women & children.

Tainted water supply there has a lasting impact.
Unlike the Charles (love THAT dirty water :like), their river caught on fire.
Similar problem down by the 3 Rivers.
