A.L. East 2017

So far through April, the Yankees have surprised to the upside while Toronto has surprised to the downside. Orioles are playing well, although their pitching sure collapsed last night, while the Red Sox and Rays are so-so so far. Biggest surprise is the Yankee's starting pitching and the early hitting of Aaron Judge. As for the Sox, who will replace Ortiz as the clutch hitter in the lineup? It's a long season and it'll be interesting to see how things develop over time.

Baltimore now has the best record in baseball after beating the Nats again.

Yep...fast starts are no guarantee of success over a long season and .675 winning percentages don't last.

I haven't seen this much excitement for a rookie Yankee player in Aaron Judge since the 1980's and a guy named Kevin Maas who hit 10 home runs in his first 70 at bats and Yankee fans thought they found the second coming of Mickey Mantle! But in no time pitchers figured him out and he was more like Mickey Mouse !

Tanaka has been awful the last month. ERA is in the stratosphere. CC goes tonight.

He didn't think that having a interpreter should be legal in baseball and said that players should "learn baseball language." to communicate without said interpreter.

Some have basically said that he was saying the players should learn English and that this is racist.

Depends on whose plan you're looking at.

All tied up now.

Looks like the team with the fewest injuries may be the last one standing.

Oakland has played tough against both Sox & EE this year.
