No real rooting interest although I probably lean a bit toward the Dodgers.

ehhh sox fans are used to their team being out of it most years...for most of your lives to watch a world series meant watching other successful teams play a game the sox wouldn't reach for decades...on the other hand being a yankees fan has meant playoffs most years and a good number of WS appearances starting in my early teens and continuing through the years and decades that followed...

baseball is nearly as boring as watching paint dry even when yer team is in it...can't see any point in watching two teams I couldn't possibly care less about...

I caught a couple of innings. Kershaw stepped up. Let’s see if Verlander keeps on dominating.

Same with me, watched a couple innings...just can't sit and watch baseball, which is funny since I played in a mens softball league for over 20 years, you'd think I'd have more interest.

Well .. being a fan of baseball doesn't mandate watching an entire contest 8)
.. in the age of extended game complaints, last night's game ran 2:28. :like

Then .. O'Malley, Rickey, Robinson, Reese, Alston, Drysdale, Lasorda, Hodges, Hershiser, Valenzuela, Campanella ..
Now .. Kershaw, Turner, Bellinger ..
Always .. Sculley

Verlander due for an off night.
Kate is out of town.

Funny, I got nicknamed "Rickey" for about 5 of those years (batted leadoff mostly because of my speed, but also hit homeruns, I always made "basket-catches" if I had to run in on a ball in the outfield, and never "used two hands" on any fly balls, always tried to stretch singles into doubles(or "Dezzy triples" after an overthrow...))!

And I mainly mentioned the softball because just like in the parking lot after skiing, groups of people will likely talk skiing, beers in the parking lot after a softball game and conversation will end up about baseball sooner-or-later. We sure didn't talk about softball much.

Ya, after I hit "submit", I realized you had listed Dodger related, not colorful baseball related...pretty good you realized I was talking about Rickey Henderson!

Usually if you get Kershaw 4 runs quickly you are good...

Anyone see the guy grab the ball from that lady and throw it back after a LA HR?

Good pitching. Great hitting. Drama. Astonishment.
Neither team showing any sign of quit. :like

Plate umpiring and lack of sleep are only downside.
