My best friend growing up was a Jewish kid from Flushing. All he ever ate was Chinese food.

golden temple in brookline....all benz & lexus every saturday night....its on beacon street? i always get the streets messed up in the greatest skating city i have ever been in....

jewish population? ....theres a small middle class....the rest are considered upper middle class or wealthy....is this due to their stong beliefs in family & education? every other ethnic group has a lower class or even poor class but not the jewish population in america. why is it that african americans are the only ethnic group that came to the usa that has not succeded?....even the vietnamese boat people have....people are saying that its due to all the entitlements the us gov has given to AAs....the jews were the largest group of imigrants to come to the usa with the most money in their pockets & the most employable skills....notice there are no jews in all the service jobs, unions etc....they are mostly professionals....educators, accountants, lawyers, doctors & business owners....very little divorce in the jewish community....

what? who? wtf u talking about boy? heres how it worked....my grandfather born around 1892 on the lower east side dropped out of school in 5th grade & started working....no education hooked up with brooks brothers....in the 1920s-the roaring 20s-had mansfield freeman as a customer whenever he would return to nyc....my grandfather had saved $5k & had just moved from the lower east side to the suburbs of bensonhurst, brooklyn....he kept telling my grandfather about this insurance co in china he was president of & how he should invest....he put his entire $5k into the place....20 years later it was worth $5 mil, 20 years after that 1960s company goes public & what was $5k, that became $5 mil, then became $50 mil & is now worth over $500 mil not including all the years of dividends....all because he believed in one thing "people"....

any idea what john davison rockefella's return was on his initial $2,000 investment in an oil refinery in ohio in 1864? dude...my grandfathers boss put in $10k in the 20s in the same insurance co....any idea what thats worth today? u got it over $1 billion....

Getting to the important stuff, did you ever go to a Chinese restaurant in Woodbury called Homer's? I'm sure it's long gone now - I'm talking about around 1980 when I lived there.
