Snowdaze: Killington Ski Share Available and Happy Hours

Post by killingtonskishare »

Hey all,

I wanted to give you more information on the house I am running, Snowdaze, and information about out first meet up this week in NYC and next week in Boston.

This is my first year running this particular house at Killington, but I have been running a house at Killington for the last five years, so have a bit of experience in that regard. Our new house this year, really is new in a lot of regards. The house is being completely remodeled and will have new carpet, paint, furniture, two new bedrooms, a new bathroom, and a new media room. The house has 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms total, along with a living room, dining room and kitchen, and two mud rooms. It also has a lot of amenities, including a gas grill, hot tub (!), cable, HDTV, wireless Internet, Xbox and PlayStation, arcade games, and wood burning stove. We also have a cleaning service, firewood delivery, weekly hot tub maintenance, snow plowing, and trash removal. The house is located just off the main access road (a very important consideration) and also is on a paved road with a large driveway which makes things a lot easier for those without four-wheel drive.

The most important thing about any house is the people, and this one has a great group of laid-back, fun-loving skiers and snowboarders. We have some people returning from last year, and a good number of new people as well. I also have two house managers, Kathryn (NYC) and Jo (Boston) who are helping me to run the house and make sure everything runs smoothly throughout the season. Our philosophy in running a house is simple: everyone is there to have a good time, so we do everything we can to make sure that happens for you and everyone else.

We hope you'll have a chance to come out to our first happy hour this week in NYC:
