Do you have pants that go with that boot and ski. Also, are the other boot and ski the same colors?
HaHa. Pants & shell are black, but you know that.
Other boot is an old Nordica Grand Prix, dark blue (almost black).
Other ski:

I do have an ugly Giro 9 helmet - grey with red flames - to complete the clashing effect

I really like the FJ a lot. Drove one a few weeks ago. Want to see what they have in store for the '08 model. Wish that they would make a removable roof option like the original.

Yeah looks real nice, but they're too much in demand for now. Figure I'll wait a year or two.

Used to own an original FJ years ago. The owner before me took out the straight six and put in a small block chevy V-8. Great for living in the Colorado mountains.

Thanks, but it's all for my son. Should have mentioned that. I think SkiDork originally recommended the Fischer SL's for him way back at end of last season and when I checked them out I liked what I saw. Judging from this thread, Dork took his own advice. :)

Sorry, wasn't clear. The skis (2006's)I got on ebay not long after your recommendation way back when. The bindings and poles are from Ski-depot , and they tell me the poles are what's holding things up.

oh, I see. Are they special poles, or just Fischer brand?

I also got new poles off SAC - the retractable ones.

Nope, nothing special. Fischer RC4 Worldcup Jr. Slalom Ski Poles 2007, $35.

The guys are very nice when I call up,but I 'm thinking of calling them tomorrow and telling them to just send me the bindings. Was August when I ordered the stuff and we're now coming up on October . Sheesh.

Mr. Moose, are the tips 105 or 106, as you earlier stated?

These are Elan Ripstick's 09/66/98 164. Woodcore, very fast, reasonably priced. At a 66 in the mid, not your quiver choice on powder days, but like Skidork and his RC4's, these are rockets on the groomers.
