C'mon gang. I know it is bad, but remember the Valentine's Day Blessing of 2007 (and subsequent awesome March) was preceeded by the lousy December 2006.

yeah i think ozzy mentioned one year where they were down to fumes on rime. we've seen where they've even had to close after t-giving. but this year may be the worst. can't be a good thing for the mtn. starting to get hopeful for the weekend w/colder temps & nat snow.

Would not mind a replay of that at all.

It's only "worst" because there's no K Chair with midstation and no truck ride to the Canyon Quad. The cover on Rime is much better now than it was in 1999 when they did have to close on Thanksgiving weekend.

Does anyone really want to wait another three months for decent snow?

No but thinking about having a good season ahead makes us feel better about the lousy one we are having now. Get with the flow.

Can remember a few good old fashioned washouts for the Christmas/New Years holiday ov the past 28 years. Remember one in the mid 80's when the only thing open between Christmas & New Years was the criple chair servicing upper bunny buster to lower bunny buster. Drank my balls off that week, there wasn't anything else to do.

Since I think we're going to start pulling out of this crappy weather pattern in about a week, I seem to be more optimistic than most of the rest of the group... which I'm pretty sure is a sign of the Apocalypse.

Geoff,
I'm pretty sure it was just that Saturday of the Thanksgiving 1999 weekend that K was closed

Last year it started r*ining on Christmas Eve and the rest of the week was no picnic either. The weeks before Christmas had been wonderful though.

I've seen 128" by Christmas time with epic skiing, and days closed between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is New England, and we get it all. Just hope we get a cold snap soon along with a good dump or two.

Hey Humpty, back to your dump, can you sh*t some snow for us?
