I've enjoyed some of Moore's work, but never really considered it documentary as much as biased, thought provoking entertainment (and I'm a moderate/liberal). Some better documentaries to see about our world today:
Gunner Palace (in limited release now):

Control Room (on DVD now)

Fog of War (on DVD now - even though it's focused on Vietnam, McNamara has a lot of points relevant today)

It was a good movie. It was funny that the Carlile Group is building a oil pipeline across IRAQ and senior Bush was on the board of directors while still receiving intelligence reports from the CIA. Bush drove every company he ever owned or ran into bankruptcy but was always saved by cash from the Saudi's. His buddy from the Air Guard was a fund manager for the Bin Laden family. There's a lot of funny stuff in here and a lot of scarey stuff.
