post Sandy trip to Vt.

Post by LINYbob »

Since there is no power on LI and it doesn't look good for a while, I am thinking of going up to K for a while. Is the Throgs Neck open? Is there power, etc. up at Killington? Lot of trees down here, it is getting boring, and very dark.

Only a few without power up here. Some smaller limbs down here and there. Basically no damage whatsoever. Green Mountain Power is restoring power to those who lost it right now...

The Vermont power outage map shows 1660 homes out in Rutland county. Most areas have power with few other issues. Vermont has been on the softer side of this storm so far. Sun is out in Mendon right now. Looks like cold weather settles in after the storm passes. Come on up.

Open for business tonight. Come on up but bring your late autumn clothes as it is COLD and getting COLDER. Hear rumors of snow at elevation and guns roaring.
