Welcome to the Tweed River Mountain Residence “ The Tweed”. Situated in the historic Village of Pittsfield. Only 8 Miles to Killington Access Road and Pico lifts. Killington’s best kept secret. Here, is where VT backcountry skiers were born.

A custom built, 2800 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home built in 2006. Enter the residence to find glorious views from your Lofty Living, Dining and Kitchen area. The main floor consists of the Great Room, Dining Area, Eat in Kitchen, Master Bedroom Suite, Half Bath, Ski Room and Screened-in Seasonal Loft. Vermont Red Maple Flooring throughout, Cathedral Ceilings and a glowing Woodstove. Step out on the deck with unobstructed mountain views.

On the Lower Level you will find a sprawling Den with plush furnishings, Big Screen TV with Surround Sound, and another Wood Burning Stove for complete coziness. Two very spacious bedrooms, a Full Bath with Jacuzzi Tub, Laundry and Furnace room.

The residence has been tastefully furnished, decorated and fully equipped for your stay in Vermont. Comfortably sleeping 8. Extra beds for children. A hotel like stay where everything is included. Fresh linens, quilts, pillows, towels, throws, grilling equipment and more.

Step into the outdoors. Here, in this special place the natural wonders begin at your front door. Situated at the trailhead of the Green Mountain Biking and Hiking trails, enjoy a 25 mile network of marked and maintained trails. Bike, run, hike, snow shoe or X/C ski direct from your door. Skiers can skin to the top of South Hill with spectacular 360 views and ski backcountry right to the house. Ask the owner about secret stashes and lines in the trees. Steep and Deep!

Leaf Peepers will splendor as you are surrounded by vibrant mountain vistas. Cruise Scenic Rt. 100 past farms and fields.

Snowmobilers have direct access to the VAST trail system and indoor storage for your sleds.

Jump into the “Daily Bend” where the Tweed Rive turns at 90 degrees and created a private, crystal clear swimming hole. The water is so clean you can bottle it and take it home. Famous for fly fishing too!

A short walk brings you to the center of Town. In the historic Village of Pittsfield you will find the Original General Store, Bikram Yoga Studio, Picarellos Pizza, The Pitt-Stop convenience store, Casa Bella Inn and Restaurant, Colonial Town buildings on the Green, including a one room Library. Too quaint? Jam with the band on Open Mic Thursdays at the Clear River Tavern.

Within 5 minutes you can ride the White River in a Tube, play 18 holes at Green Mountain National Golf Course, fish in Colton Pond, get fresh Maple Syrup and eggs at the Stockbridge Farm, have the "Worlds Greatest Breakfast" at the Swiss Farm Inn, and much more.
