Kristaps Porzingis

Post by thedev »

I know the draft happened over 2 weeks ago but I wanted to see some opinions on the Knicks drafting Kristaps Porzingis 4th overall. Personally I think he has a lot of upside but I also understand why the fans are upset as he is a "project" and won't become a major factor in the league for at least 3 years.

If you add an "H" to his name and rearrange the letters, you get "Shortski".

The Boston Celtics will totally rebuild and raise ANOTHER banner before the Knicks ever do !

I doubt it unless the Celtics can draft someone who amounts to something and can play a whole season.

Bump.

Having watched this guy tonite, that ain't ever going to be Patrick Ewing.
He's gonna get chewed-up inside by beefy guys that have game.
Knicks didn't need a 7' 3" three point shooter

Carmelo will never share the rock.
Good luck with all that.

Tommy Heinsohn said some positive things about him and his game, although I have to agree with you; the guy clearly needs some beefing up. Keep in mind, however, how young this guy is. He's only 20 and 7'3", 240 (or something like that) and Moses Malone was 6'10" 215 when he entered the ABA out of high school. One beefed up over time. Will the other?

20 year old with the longest knee wraps in history.
Those legs won't hold that frame up for for long once the banging starts.
One consolation ... Lanier, Unseld, Reed, Dawk & Shaq are memories.

Heinson, last vestige of the legacy ... should stick to his painting
Gorman is still relevant and inciteful.
I am impressed with Rozier :like
