Hey, who got more natural snow this year, K or Hunter? This might have been one of those years Hunter got more.

K I'm sure...
Hunter lost almost all of it's snow before we got 3 feet in March...
For three glorious weekends we hike and rode ******* and ******...

I cramponed up Racers the other day...
And took off the crampons and used the ice axe to glissade...

so when ya going??

i met a guy yesterday who proposed to his wife while climbing rainier. they were practicing crevasse rescue, and he proposed while she was down in the crevasse and he was holding the rope. seriously. it was a hilarious story..

I was just going through a gear test and making sure my self arrest techniques are still good befor ehading to Mount Washington next week...

It's amazing how fast you can climb with crampons...
Had to order some new gaiters today - I really chewed up the pants I was wearing...

I could see myself doing Rainier someday...
