The way they've been pitching the 2nd half of this season and all of the postseason, I would say 1 to 3 are def aces. Mats (#4) could easily fit into that mold, but he needs more time in the bigs. He has the right stuff though.
Agreed on Syndergaard. Mats is hot right now, but small sample size for now. It will be an interesting series. Would love to see it go 7.
I predict the following:
I'm gonna go out on the SnoBrdr limb here, but; if it does go 7 games, the team that wins that 7th game will probably win the World Series.
This game is becoming painful. What happened to that offense and pitching of the Amazing Mets? Down 7 - 1 and falling fast. Got to root for the EAST, but damn, make it a fight please.
The title of this thread appears quite appropriate after Game 2, just not in the way it was originally meant.

After his last two game performance how could the Mets pay that with all the other good outfielders who are free agents.
Without the obvious attitude as well.
IMHO, I wouldn't overlook/release Cespedes for his play-off performance in the same way I wouldn't sign Murphy to a big contract based on his play-off performance.

I get the feeling that he doesn't like or just won't listen.
The reports are that when he was with Boston that he refused to listen to anything the outfield coach tried to help him with.
This is the same guy who has helped made JBJ and Mookie into the fielders that they are.
But I guess if the Mets like Bonilla that they will like this guy.
As an aside, can you believe that the Mets are still paying BB.
Beware of fools & trolls here, they lurk everywhere.

If you watch it I think the LF could of actually had a better angle as he got over there faster , but he stopped to watch Cespedes and the ball careened by him .
How ironic will it be if the Mets lose this series because of lousy fielding ........
Here is what I said after game 1 and it appears Irony will prevail !
