Chapman - 105.1 mph fastball?!
Chapman - 105.1 mph fastball?!
When I turned to the Yankees game last night it was the 9th inning with Chapman pitching. Hit 103, 104 then 105.1 mph! Just can't imagine how he hits those speeds. I remember the days if you hit 100 it was an incredible thing. When you watch Betances, Miller and Chapman it's pretty much every pitch.

He should pitch all 3 at least one full game a week. 3 innings each. Why not? They're just wasting away in the bullpen because the Yankees suck and are rarely in the lead after 4, let alone, 6 innings so they rarely play. They have such weapons that just sit there probably 120+ games this season. Do something different for a change. They just can't think out of the box. The game is so robotic and mindless anymore. They'll also probably trade away 1 or 2 of them and get crap back and still not make the playoffs and suck even more next season! Oh well. That's why I rarely watch baseball anymore these days. I tuned in for 5 minutes which turned out to be the best part!brownman wrote:... unfortunate Girardi can't have 'em all playing simultaneously.
