How is a chant a nation doing violence to another.

No, you are always right on everything.

Keep repeating that to yourself.

Guy in Shorts wrote:Not much has changed since Thomas Jefferson went to London back in 1786 to negotiate with the ambassador of Tripoli over the Barbary pirates capturing U.S. ships and enslaving the crews.

The Ambassador said "It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise.”

The U.S. paid the Barbary Coast States huge tributes forcing Congress to form the Dept of the Navy in 1798. American ships joined up with Sweden going to war in 1801. The marines captured the Tripolitan city of Dern in 1805 raising the American flag on foreign soil for the first time. This act is immortalized in the Marine Hymn –“to the shores of Tripoli”

This is simple Navy history that I learned back in boot camp.

Fast forward a couple centuries and the story remains the same – Muslim nations seek to dominate and destroy non-Muslim nations. The U.S. has had little choice but to protect U.S. citizens and our interests by using military force.

Radical Islamic jihadists continue this battle to today while the rest of the peaceful Muslim world seems to sit quietly on the sidelines cheering them on.
What Muslim nation state can you identify as doing this today.

Maybe you are confusing radical jihad as state run, but you cannot find any evidence to show this.
You're either o troll or an ignorant moron.

Did you forget that ISIS is NOT a Nation State.

While they may control areas of different nations, it does not fit your claim.
What does the first "S" in ISIS stand for?

IT seems to me that ISIS has an army, a people that share a common bond, and occupy a territory.

What is it that makes a Nation if not that? A listing on Rand McNally? A seat at the UN?

Typical nonsense hyperbole from you. Do you want to ban George W. Bush too? He who as of very recently held the record for most Somalis being resettled in this country at 49K+ people. Last I checked Somalia is a Muslim nation with a very serious terrorism problem. Was George W. Bush a terrorist sympathizer and supportive of their causes?

Yes, many of the policies of George W. Bush have led this country down the road to a third world hell hole banana republic. He put America second too, so yes-his policies have supported their causes. It's only a matter of time before Somali refugees and their children kill more Americans-make no doubt about it.

You don't honestly believe what you wrote.

A band of whatever calling themselves a "STATE" makes them a nation?

So I guess the Nation of Islam is a nation as well.

Maybe if that band had tanks, an economy, territory, natural resources, sure ... would be a hell of a band!

Nation. Noun. "nay-shun"
a large body of people, associated with a particular territory, that is sufficiently conscious of its unity to seek or to possess a government peculiarly its own

or

a large area of land that is controlled by its own government

Yea. No doubt when you open your borders and don't have a means/process to settle the people ... they're going to settle in the streets.

As an aside, one of the primary reasons I can't read ZH stuff is a result of their overwhelming positioning of stories / narratives, like this link:
The Paris you know or remember from adverts or brochures no longer exists. While no part of Paris looks like the romantic Cliches in Hollywood movies, some districts now resemble post-apocalyptic scenes of a dystopian thriller.
Have you ever been to Paris? This line is absolutely made up.

yes the Promenade des Anglais is just gorgeous...amazing what you consider "made up" vs what you consider "gospel"... pretty sure the line from the article is one's OPINION...one based on the current state of affairs in europe and france in particular...seems like a pretty accurate opinion too...much closer to the truth than any paris brochures EVER were...there may be some tourist areas that are somewhat unaffected but by and large it's a shadow of its heyday....

any impartial look at france shows a country in great decline, social unrest, numerous terrorist attacks, large immigration issues etc...seems like perhaps your recollection might be the more "made up" story here...

Ugh, you kinda answered my question about Paris ... seeing as Promenade des Anglais is actually in Nice .... not Paris. When's the last time you were in Europe?
