Verified 2 inches, not sure I saw 3, except where blown in.MrsG wrote:18 degrees and snowing - report from the mountain was 'fresh tracks in 3 inches' at end-of-the-day-sweep

I'd call it 2 inches. Followed by freezing r*in. Friends were lined up to creep down the pass and roads were super crappy.

Report from my friend at the Woods...roads are very bad. If you are driving up today for some crazy reason be very careful.

Almost 6 inches! That's what she said.
6:33 am 02/08/17--The Beast has been blessed with a snowy start to February, and the inches that accumulate here most nights are adding up on trails and in the trees. Last night was no exception, with 5.5 inches accumulating before rising temps turned the snow into mixed precipitation.

41 degrees, more wind than not, no damage to snow coverage out the slider, glare on the cement wall . . . but, the new snow tomorrow will help the woods and naturalsRustyK wrote:Almost 6 inches! That's what she said.

It r*ined. It's 45 degrees. There's a light crust on the snow that has turned from fluff to sludge. It's very windy. There's light spit in the air. And then it's going to get cold. None of this is going to improve things. The only good news I can find is the sweet memory of yesterday afternoon and the fact that it will drain all day before turning to concrete.

the "good news" is that it'll firm up the base in the woods. not rushing back ...Mister Moose wrote:It r*ined. It's 45 degrees. There's a light crust on the snow that has turned from fluff to sludge. Hey .. Every day is just one day.
Plenty of time to fix things before the Presidents arrive.
Even Jay got washed.
Snow line was in Quebec.
Tremblant received 28 cm.
Yawgoo Valley in the Thursday crosshairs.

I'll take Massif over Tremblant anyday. This storm could have been a lot worse. its safe to say, we have enough base snow, so lets get some fun stuff going. I'm surprised KMS was closed, KES had school. clearing this storm was a royal PIA.Big Bob wrote:Don't forget Powderhouse Hill, 12" plus and no r*in there, just snow and sleet.brownman wrote:Hey .. I can always count on Moose putting up a negative report after 'anything' I post . . . good job . . . today was freakin' awesome on the "high speed" lift sideMister Moose wrote:It r*ined.
