Wow I never saw * that * cake! Nice!

The cake mr. moose baked and brought was awesome...as were the artisan brews.
Happy birthday again...and glad
*somebody* else came out for a couple of final runs of the day! ;0]

Thanks as always to GIS and Mrs GIS for setting up base camp, and to everyone who brought food and beverages...

It was warm and gray all day but a fun and festive day on the road and on the hill.

after catching last chair, my effort was rewarded by a first sunny run of the day from launch pad down.

After a sunny tailgate session, it was too tempting - seeing the hill finally bathed in sunlight - to not hike up for the second sunny run of the day. I planned on going as far as tower 3...but kept going til just shy of 10.
Really wanted to get to the top but thought I was pushing my luck by being in the recently-sighted bear's habitat.
The shadows were longer than I'd ever seen on ss...

Yes we do celebrate every day after the lifts close but the Moose Birthday party was Thursday. Saturday we had pulled pork sliders and Moose brownies washed down with some fine IPA’s and stouts. Hard to keep the days straight as they tend to blend.

Stopped by your setup but only Rich and Nancy were there and my daughter and friend wanted to head home so I left with them.
