Solid move right there. Thanks for the links.
Now I get to judge for myself if the box set is better than the remastered Betty Boards. Thanks again brotha!

Saw the Knot Dead play the Cornell show at the Hollow in Albany last night. Well Done. It amazes me that 120 or so people would go out on a Monday night to see a cover band do that. The Grateful Dead inspired so many musicians that it's hard for me to think of any other band that has had such an impact. Except maybe the Beatles. Smile. Smile. Smile.

Seeing this thread reminded me of one of the worst shows that the anniversary is coming up (I'm not a deadhead though, didn't see them in double-digit amounts)...in May of 1979 they played in my lovely hometown of Billerica, MA in a skating rink...they were sick/bored/tired...even the "spinning-dancing girls" in the back that followed the band thought they were subpar. After the initial rush to get in the rink, there were unused tix just laying on the ground. At least the party was good as far as I can remember.
No Dead & Co dates for me as they are only within driving distance while I am on vacation and can't make it. I hear they are good, so I should probably check them at some point.
Most likely go to saratoga [my back yard]. Toga show was good last year and first night at Fenway was awesome.
Goes to show, you don't never know
Watch each card you play, and play it slow
Don't you let that deal go down
