Tram started loading around 10 but we had to wait a while before it was our turn. Got off it and Rendezvous Bowl was a complete whiteout due to the heavy winds up there. I think I got vertigo since I could not tell which way was down. Kept skiing down a little at a time and finally got down. Very heavy snow had fallen ( 8 inches reported). Steeps where your friend. Woods were great. We found that it took longer to get one run in than yesterday. Iceman enjoyed skiing the Alta Shutes while I would ski some other terrain nearby. It’s been snowing all day so visibility was better in the trees. We skied their Cascade but this one is much steeper than ours. Hoping that the snow that fell last night drains and that the snow that is falling now is lighter.

If you go to Grand Targhee, which you should definitely do, stop at wildlifebrewing.com for great pizza and beer on the way home.

This place is great. Order the elk, well worth the crazy high price.

It’s snowing and we’re too tired to go into town tonight. Probably will eat at Mangy Moose.

If Iceman likes Alta Chutes, tell him to also check out the Tower 3 Chute.
Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, then overwhelm you with their experience.

We skied Tower 3 yesterday. There were some rocks to deal with yesterday in that Chute. We did another Chute today whose name I don’t know right now.

We’ve skied a lot of that terrain both yesterday and today and will continue to ski it. Only area we have not skied that is open is the stuff off the Apres Vous lift.
