If you clicked on the EYES <SNEEK PEEK> youl get a glimpse of the 05-06 line.
I'd like to demo them to see what I like, starting with the EXP 724 http://www.volkl.com/ski/7_24_series.shtml to the 5 star
http://www.volkl.com/ski/ss_5_star.shtml
and now the newer ones!

The new Unlimited AC4 looks pretty sweet. My only complaint about the Vertigo Motions that I bought a few years ago was that it had pretty thin base and edges. I only tuned them when they really needed it and they didn't last very long. My current Fischers took 10Xs the beating that the Motions took and they don't look half as bad, damage and thickness wise.
JMHO, they weren't durable compared to other brands. Granted, this is relative to the way I ski.

Mmmmmm, sidecountry....
Volkl makes a nice product. I would say they have a good niche for themselve. I still have a pair of P40's that are stiff as a board but have that trademark Volkl grip. Those skis only want to do one thing - go fast with giant turns. You can try and make them turn faster but they really don't want to.
The six stars I have grip the same as the P40's but are much more maneuverable. Of course they are also 6 years newer and 30cm shorter.

it's in Russian, but it has all the pictures of the new Volkls. I hear the AC4's look even sweeter in person. I saw some 5-Stars out at Wildcat over Easter weekend. Pretty sweet looking ski. Can't recall if the dimensions changed at all. There was some lengthy discussion on the new Volkl's on the Barking Bear forums.

The 6 Stars have been replaced by the All-Star.Stormchaser wrote:No more 6 Stars. :(
Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, then overwhelm you with their experience.
