So .. these kids got admitted on athletic scholarships, then demonstrated their ineptitude and then did what, warmed the bench or just simply quit their teams ? How does a college coach ever decide that's a good deal for their program?

Whoever paid $6.5M for a fraudulent SAT score woulda been better off just giving their brain dead kid the money and having them open a business of some kind. Now the kids life has been thrown to the curb.
This is one crazy and sad story. Another example of how vulnerable seemingly all of our 'institutions' have become.
