I just downloaded a torrent of a non-copyrighted film which came in .img format. it's 1.5 gigs. is there a way to view this wihout burning it onto DVD?

Basically you instal Daemon....then when you run it...it will appear as an icon next to the system clock.....then right click....click mount image....select the .img file you're referring to.
After you do this either:
1.) The movie will start playing
2.) You need to go into windows explorer and browse to the virutal CD drive that Daemon tools has created for your image...and double click that CD drive.
