I mean, public utility regulation is a lot closer to the net neutrality stuff than it is to regulating a private web site / web hosting company that decides to censor certain content being hosted on its servers. Twitter has suspended the campaign account for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) after his social media team shared a video of left-wing protesters gathering outside the Senator's Kentucky home - with one activist calling for someone to "just stab the f*** in the heart."

As for Massacre Mitch ... from what I can tell it's a nickname holding him responsible for his lack of action around gun control ... rather than inviting violence.

I'm not a supporter of gun violence. My life was saved by a lawful gun at the age of 10. I still have PTSD. No one was ever sorry when they had a gun and needed it.

Sure, but was the guy who saved your life holding an assault rifle? Seems to me there's no practical reason for private citizens to own assault weapons other than "they are cool and we like shooting them." You want to own a hunting rifle or a pistol? Have at it. But limits make sense in the wake of the upteen hundredth tragedy we've seen in this country.

Is the weapon attacking you by itself or is someone holding it? If someone is holding it, I'd recommend you use your hand gun or hunting rifle to shoot them. Or call the police, or both.

The self-defense argument lends itself to absurd results. So if a criminal manages to get his hands on an M2 Browning and threatens you with it, does that mean you need to be allowed to purchase an M2 browning to fight him off? What if he gets his hands on a bazooka? Or body armor? Are you now allowed to purchase armor-piercing bullets? There's got to be a limit somewhere.
