Well folks, it doesn’t look like the weather is going to improve much today, so what we have is what we’re going to get. Canyon Quad, Snowdon Triple, North Ridge Quad, Snowshed Double, Northbrook Quad, Bear Mountain Quad and Ramshead Express Quad are open. All other lifts will remain closed for the day.

The Tubing Park is delayed until 12:00 a.m.

The Ledgewood Yurt will not open for lunch today."
Well at least they plan to have the tubing park opened by midnight!

Snowshed double, Northbrook quad, Snowdon triple, Northridge quad, Ramshead quad, Bear mountain quad lifts running. Skiing was actually great if you knew where to get the goods. ROTD High Traverse, Bear Tracks, Launchpad, Skylark. I quit around 2 because of the freezing fog but snow conditions were good.

Posting from Mahogany. Not too bad. Cascade laps
Best I’ve seen it all week.

If it snows. Could be better.

Didn't start at first bell but most of the lifts did not start either. Riding the triple was quite cold and the triple did stop for 25 minutes when I was on it one time. However, the Snowdon runs were skiing well. On NorthRidge, Upper Dipper also had creamy snow. The other runs skied pretty well too.

The ROTD for me was Skylark and I skied it 3 times and each time it skied great. Getting to it was work as the Superstar quad was not running. Bittersweet was also very good. Did not try Superstar but I bet the middle part would have been awesome too. Did not ski the Canyon runs but heard from people that they skied well too today.

The only drawback was that your goggles would get very icy at times and then visibility was low. Winds picked up so I decided to call it a day as I anticipated lifts stopping because of them.

Skied 4 runs down B-Slope at Pico and skiing (other than the very top pitch which was mostly wind blown off) was surprisingly enjoyable.

Different world in eastern NH, 3.5" of snow with some sleet mixed in and no freezing r*in. Someday Bigger may be the place to hit this week, 5" so far with up to a foot expected. Weird storm...

You know it’s a bad day when High Traverse is listed one the ROTDs.

don't think he meant high traverse, but that's the loop you had to take to ski skyelark and the other supe runs. folks who did it earned it because you had to take the snowdon triple to NRQ then do the whole traverse thing to ski the run then push back in front of the lodge to do another lap.

Well I guess I had a great day. Laps on NR quad until Canyon opened. Nothing memorable on north ridge. VCascade nice and creamy. LEF pretty scrubbed as wind was blowing gale force up the trail. Finished for lunch as well as end of day over to superstar. Nice to have trails all to myself with wonderful creamy sleet surface. Probably close to 3” by end of day.

Bear mountain was dead. No lift line. lapped bear claw to skyeburst a bunch of times. It skied way better than I expected. Bear mountain road claimed many stuck cars today. people without winter tires.
