lots of grapefruit, very ruby like...
This is one I missed out on, I hope they drop it again as Foley is one of my favorite brewery's.
just bought this a week or so ago at the brewery...call ahead for curbside pickup...
Why not just drink ruby red grapefruit juice? I reccomend adding vodka to it, with a sprig of mint. Even better, make a vodka martini with a splash of ruby red grapefruit juice and the sprig of mint. Four parts vodka-one part juice.
Because while we describe snow as "powdery", "corn", or "cream cheese" we don't actually ski on Johnsons Baby Powder, or Bird's Eye corn.

Good point Mr. Moose. Although sometimes I do want those flavors not in a beer and I do make myself a mixed drink!

It's not very short. I kept some Avery Czar RIS for 2-3 years. Kept very well. I have some barrel aged triple Bag in the fridge, might be 4 years old. And a barrel aged Framinghammer. (Jack's Abby) I was hoping to pop them this spring slopeside, but they might have to age a little longer.

Everyone has their own opinion. Most Imperial Stouts I have no issue cellaring for a year or so. If they’re barrel aged And high ABV (like this one - 13%). I age minimum of 1 year and up to 3 years. This one was bottled June of 2017 so just shy of 3 years.

3 years is usually my max, but I have others that I continue to age;

- Dogfish Higher Math (17% ABV) - Aged 5 years so far. Had one after aging one year. Cherries were still too overwhelming. Will probably open this one come cooler temps this fall.

- Dogfish 120 Minute (17% ABV) - I have a flight for tasting purposes. Right now I have 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. Once I get this years 120 I’ll open them for a tasting with others.

- Stone W00T 2018 (13% ABV) - I’ll probably save this until cooler weather in the fall / winter. I try to enjoy them with others so we’ll see what the holidays bring.

Refrigerated beer can easily last 3+ years, temperature swings and uv exposure are beer killers, not an issue in the fridge.

Sorry but I completely disagree with you. Well maybe commercially produced beers can but craft beers your lucky to get 3-4 months out of them. The hops break down quickly and will be very off.

Well along those lines. Deal of the century.

Took road trip to Harpoon brewery last week. Goal was to get some hand sanitizer from Silo distillery [shot - score, thanx to that place] and placed an on-line order 4 some beer at Harpoon.

Got 8 New England IPA [7+% I believe] for $25+ for takeout. Woulda brought it to my car if I texted them.
One of my new semi-fave beers.

When ordering, there was a DIPA I wanted, but were out of it. But when I went in, tasted a Crazy Hazy or something like that, that was real good.

So far, a decent road trip. Scored sanitizer, some good beer, and a taste. Not to mention getting outathehouse with my wife and mother in law on a nice drive.

Yesterday, got an email from Harpoon Brewery I won the $25 "raffle" for last Monday. Didnt even know I.was in it.

SHOT SCORE AGAIN !

Guess I am going back to Windsor nexr week.
