Zeta leftovers on Thursday night and Friday could bring snow, followed by a cold weekend.

The beast could be put into service with a night of favorable temps. They've had that. Is it economically viable? No. Not in this China flu plauge. It's Fu@king sad.

Not one night. About 36 hrs of continuous marginal to fair temps.

They have not had that yet.

Snowmaking is supposed to start Thursday evening.

Even with reduced rental compressors (has anyone seen ANY of them???) they have enough permanent compressor capacity to max out their water flow at XX degrees F. :?:

looks like a good snowmaking window from thursday nite at least into tuesday with maybe a brief shutdown daytime sunday. in a non-covid season, we could have been skiing perhaps as early as saturday. longer range shows a warmup starting wednesday and lasting for a while. so we'll see ...

Anybody been up on the mountain lately? Have they set up any guns up high yet? Gonna have nice temps Thursday thru Saturday with some natural. You would think they would want to start stockpiling.

Light snow at K right now. Some coating up high that can be seen on the cams. Many guns were already setup across the mountain up high when I was there a couple weeks ago and biked/hiked.

either no one's gone up there to turn it on yet or maybe they're leaving it off so that when they make snow, they don't wanna encourage people to come up and sample the goods.

nonetheless, on the snowshed webcam, it does look like some frozen precip is coming down.
