thurs 3/4 report

a mostly sunny day which felt much colder due to a rather brisk wind. it's getting better all the time as kudos go the k groomers. other than cascade & rams which we didn't ski, hit most every groomer and they all skied well. bear as usual was near perfection at the open. cruise very good. mid o much better than yesterday. supe hw remains closed. a couple surprises w both downdraft & ridge run groomed. dd was a bit marbley but still skied well and while i don't normally approve of grooming nats, will call ridge rotd because it skied so well. on my last run around 1, the grizzly bumps had softened nicely.

addendum to yesterday's rescue on the top of lower o, patrol brought a pair of crampons to the stranded skier and closed mid o shortly thereafter. wanna give a shout out to patrol who go generally unappreciated.
