See this is what Carville is talking about. Republicans believe in the election lie because it resonates with them emotionally - those evil democrats stole something from them, are trying to destroy the country by letting migrants in, etc. It's not about facts or reason, it's about connecting emotionally with the voters. Democrats, according to Carville, are relying too much on facts and reason. That's no way to win elections.
