If you're concerned about using elected office to make money, let's have a discussion about the Biden/Clinton crime families and not immediately right it off as conspiracy theories. Have you read any of Peter Schweizer's books? Very insightful!
Which conclusions?
Well, let's start with this one.
easyrider16 wrote: Feb 3rd, '22, 07:36How about Trump? Remember when he held court at Mar-A-Lago during his presidency, then doubled the initiation fees.
Reading the article you linked to, it states that Trump actually raised the fees at Mar-A-Lago shortly after taking office and not after holding "court".

It sounds to me like you're pointing the finger at Democrats when they do it, and ignoring it when Republicans do it.
Hardly the case. Just trying to shed light on the differences in the scale, scope and intent of alleged corruption between say, Trump and Biden.

Oh, so that makes it ok?

Yet in this very post, you downplayed Trump's Mar-a-Lago allegations and completely ignored the allegation that Trump was profiting off his Presidency when foreign leaders stayed at his properties to curry his favor; and then you pointed to Biden's alleged corruption. Despite your denial, it looks exactly like you are ignoring alleged Republican corruption and pointing to allegations against a Democrat.

By the way, Trump promised to "drain the swamp," yet he was in office for four years after Biden's alleged corruption and his justice department did nothing to investigate or prosecute it. They also did nothing to investigate or prosecute the Clintons. Why do you think that is?

Of course he made profits, his firm owns/managers the properties. Show me how he curried favor.......

Hmmm... maybe bias and corruption at the Justice Department. Why would they spend 40+ million to investigate salacious allegations made about Trump and Russia that have been proven 100% inaccurate but yet turn a blind eye to a laptop already in their possession containing cold hard truths about Hunter and the rest of the Biden family? How many Clinton associates have died under suspicious circumstances????

Show me how Biden did? As for Trump, isn't this a very obvious conflict of interest?

I find it a little comical that you don't see the problem with how you're approaching this. You give Trump the benefit of the doubt, assuming his innocence, and yet believe that Biden is corrupt, denying him that same benefit of the doubt.

Also, if the justice department was so corrupt, how come Trump didn't drain that swamp and fix it? After all, he had the power to hire and fire everybody in that department, didn't he?
