anyone know what happened to the bubble?

Post by asher2789 »

on saturday it was running fine at least when i was on it, on sunday by the time i got to the mtn the bubble was closed with a time estimate of 11:30, and it looked like it was running in starts and stops. 11:30 came around, bubble closed with no time estimate. yesterday i got off work early, no bubble. today im about to head up as im working later in the day, and again, no bubble.

anyone know whats up?

This is on the K website:

SNOWDON SIX EXPRESS WILL NOT OPEN TODAY, TUESDAY 4/5
Snowdon Six Express will not operate today, April 5th due to an electronic issue. The repair requires an offsite technician to come onsite and we will re-open Snowdon Six as soon as the repair is made. The Snowdon Triple will operate until the repair can be made.
I get all the news I need from the weather report

On Saturday I rode it in the morning and afternoon..

It was running on the diesel both times I was on it

My 3rd grader noticed it - he said it sounded different at the top lol

So, one of the oldest lifts on the mountain has to be fired up because one of the newest lifts is down! Rode the triple today a few times and those seats are small!

Those are the same seats (minus the 140 lb footrest) that were on the NRT (Not Really a Triple)

And the Snowdon Quad was never down for a week. Just sayin.

I have no idea what I'm talking about and I'm completely uneducated about this stuff, but this is Kzone, so here goes:
I heard that mice chewed through the wiring and when they tried to restart it, zzzzzzffffppppppop!

I tried not to make this too technical. Hope I succeeded.

My problem is with the footrests not being far enough down from the seat for my long legs. I can get one foot on, but not both. A little sketchy when I get to the mis station. i wish K had replaced the chairs when they did the referb a few years back.

It takes a computer to really foul things up. Sounds like the programming became corrupt and the system needs to be reloaded from scratch. There was something to be said for all the old switch and analog systems.
