friday 5/20 report

after last weekend's soggy finish we got another fabulous friday. by the end of the day we were finding places to hide from the sun. the highlight was a visit tyrolean skier made to the access rd festivities. great to see her! you could feel the love in the air.

just another vanilla great day on supe. skied the 9-5 shift. they erased all evidence of last week's moguls grooming pretty much edge to edge. a real smooth ride at the open with bumps building quickly throughout the day. we are starting to hit some of that WC base in some spots. the snow bridge from the lift unload was pretty much gone by the end of the day.

Afternoon Report: Yep - Another great one out there. s to 5 shift with a short break before the Power Hour.

Sorry to miss seeing Ty. Awesome that she has made it back home and was able to get out and see some of her friends.

ROTD: Superstar TTB. Nice job keeping it ski on ski off.

Great day for sure! 802 campsite off the hook.

Lots of runs early due to grooming. Afternoon got better bumps.

Nice Ty visit and chat it up with her. Cars were stacked 3 deep by 5PM.

This place rawks.

I only made it back for a week. Flew back to Arizona tonight for more treatments.

Best wishes...I do not think you realize how many people are pulling for you (and yours). Your strength is an inspiration.

Hi buckethead- I wasn't there, was just happy to hear Ty was. (and rereading my post, I should have worded it better, but I was typing with tears in my eyes...I don't have quite the same toughness as her)

i was on 4hrs sleep and running on fumes as the day progressed.
hope you has an easy trip to AZ and that treatments are going smoothly.

I hope I'll be able to see you next season. The doctor out here told us today that the cancer looks like it's being beat. However, I have issues that were probably caused by the radiation and other treatments. The MRI that I had on Monday shows that there is an inflamed colon and also an inflamed ureter in my right kidney which causes me to get bloated. They prescribed a water pill which causes lots of urination. I've also been prescribed a thyroid pill because my thyroid is not working properly. Because of this I've lost a lot of weight and have become very weak so now they want me to get injections of nutrients. Hopefully, that will make me stronger. I will not be up at Killington any more until possibly the fall if I've improved my conditions. All of my skiing friends, enjoy the rest of the season.
