I think it’s great how Spanky managed to consolidate all the bad ideas in one thread.

How about something that reflects our client base . . . . . Something like "Yo F@cktards"
I would welcome that. :like

Hey There, Beast Fans. Looks like a win for the Kzone getting the resort to drop the "Howdy". Take your small victory and be happy.

no worries about devil worship, but the word fan suggests spectator.
other than when the WC is here, the customers ARE the show.
K could use the word denizens and correctly address their customer base as the participants we are.
i was ok with howdy...i often use it myself.
and i for one am happy. not a lot of terrain open yet, but terrain, open, decent surfaces with little natural input. skiing happening.

"how do ye" dates back centuries. 'denizens' - ok, since the 100 day types do nearly live there. seems the elephant lives at at a room at ski's place. Beast of the East did at least have a rhyming to it. bubba got me reading on nero. beauty of the kzone! and oh yeah, enjoy the skiing!

Also don't like when I see "Heyo!" and have no clue what it means. I needed to look it up on the internet. Might be a sign of old age.

Ed McMahon and the "Tonight Show". Ended about 30 years ago.

It brings us great pleasure to inform you that Upper Great Northern is now accessible, allowing you to ski from the summit of the K-1 Gondola to the North Ridge Quad. Please note that, for the time being, the return journey requires ascending the Peak Walkway stairs to download the gondola to the base.
I'm having trouble keeping up with this fast "breaking news". Sheesh.

Well, sh*t. Turns out I'm in an abusive relationship with my ski area.

The snow reports are beyond lame. It’s like they gave some weird instructions to ChatGPT and never checked the output.

Embarrassingly lame. A resort of Killington's caliber should have a top-notch report. Not some stupid schoolboy drivel. Management should be ashamed. Killington is a SKI resort, not a frickin fraternity house.

What about a "Hey youse Beast Fans" or maybe a " Yo Dog, What up Beast Fans" or perhaps a more contemporary "Sup Mother F*cking Beast Fans"?

Would that make you happy?

I've always preferred the,

"Good morning, this is the snow report for Friday November 17th. Expect softening conditions out there today as temps will rise to the mid 50's. We're still limited on terrain, skiing on Great Northern down from the Gondi and on Rime, Reason, and Upper East Fall in the North Ridge area. All trails were groomed overnight with the exception of Upper East Fall. Expansion will continue as mother nature permits, but that's not likely until Saturday evening. Until then, you will still end your day by climbing the stairs back to the K1 Gondola for download. Have fun out there and please ski safely."

You’re hired!
