Whatever model(s) NOAA is using the winds are frequently over estimated, but look at what they have cooking in the 3560' forecast:

Tuesday Night Snow. Low around 25. Strong and damaging winds, with a southeast wind 55 to 65 mph increasing to 80 to 90 mph. Winds could gust as high as 105 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

NAM is what they use I believe. South East wind which is not a good direction no matter what the speed for wind holds. Decreasing to 80 MPH the next day.
