tuesday 3/5 report

Post by skiadikt »

another rather unpretty day. the drip held off until about 10:30 when a rather heavy shower came through. after that misting to a light drip. plenty of goggle swiping. picked up the tempo when i left shortly after noon. some peeps out early to beat the weather, then a ghost town.

usual opener on highline. yesterday's concrete was today's creme. rotd candidate. after a foggy run on a nice & soft claw/burst sought out better viz. spent the better part of the morning on supe which itself was very good as was everything there. co-rotd would be the "zipper line" on old supe which other than OL has the best bumps on the mtn. mid o good but on the firm side convincing us that maybe lower wasn't a good idea. vertigo HW closed but lower still good but w more patch skiing. in general the nats are pretty much toasted.

downdraft good but lower firmer. put a fork in catwalk. back on snowdon, highline still good. finished out on chute/GB. both good. happy to have gotten in 3 good hrs. looks like more of the same tomorrow. this is the devil's work ...
