new snow and hide & seek sunshine - what's not to like. mtn reporting 6", up high seemed more like 8-9". a bit breezy. very light turnout. 9-1 shift.

at the bell untracked highline was a thing of beauty. will call that rotd. trax on upper flush and skier's right trap as well. seemed like a lot of snow on LEF. escapade excellent. cascade good. over to supe for the old supe/supe combo. bumps on old filled in nicely and supe itself was good.

all the bear main lines (claw, burst & lower WF) skied well. stash & shorty good. hey captain, they finally dropped the rope on the grizzly entrance from the lower burst. spent most of our time at needles on the nats. thimble & old upper needles very good. dream HW good but a lot to avoid. lower vertigo good.

up to the NR where ridge run was quite good. a big contrast to yesterday, dipper was great even at 12:30. runner-up rotd. finished on chute/GB. chute good but lower GB lots of ice between the bumps. not good. by mid/late morning, admittedly things got rather hacked up w that ice base coming through.

good news is looks like snow showers continue for the next couple days. snowmakers were busy wiring supe back up and some guns running lower down.

I skied into Grizzly on Sunday via the Burst entrance. It was narrow and almost melted out, but well rewarding as no one had really skied it and was perfectly soft down into the top of the park

Sounds like you all had a day, weekday skiers for another win!

I agree with Mrs.G , best snow of the season made for the best day! Maybe it was the surprise and lack of people so that you got fresh tracks everywhere! Over on the Snowdon side and in the Canyon it skied like a nice dry 8” plus !

I left some Ptex and metal filings on Needles under the Gondi. Skiadkt left me some nice trax on UPper Double Dipper.

Heading down at 3pm tower guns were on Skyelark. Portable fan gun on top of MouseTrap, and on lower. That pedastal mounted fan gun can really throw when the wind is calm, remnants were hitting the lower Bunny junction.

Anyone notice the new cocktail gondola cabin outside the K1/KBL deck?

Definitely a great day. Several early K1's with freshies on Downdraft and Cascade and then Dipper ropeline. I found no one had skied Low Rider which I did about 5 times and then on to other low angle woods. Nice snow all around, keep it coming. Bumps on Middle O quite fluffy.

Afternoon Report: Might have gone out earlier but had a medical appointment getting in the way. Saw 3+ inches at Aspen East on my way to the appointment; agree 6+" on the upper mountain including Snowdon. If nothing else, we had good viz for our short afternoon stint that got better with time.

Swirl OK but totally hacked up. Found a few freshies further down. Caper OK as well.

ROTD: North Star. Can see/feel the snow changes with elevation on the way down. Top was outstanding.

Ridge Run great. Nicely filled in.

Escapade -> Cascade great. Yeah, on Cascade mostly skiing semi-firm surface below, but very edgeable and still lots of fresh snow to turn on. Cascade earned a repeat at the closing bell.

Upper Royal -> Highline very beat up late day but still good. Got better towards the bottom where it flares out. Thought about Lower Royal Flush but looked thin from the bottom.

Conrgrats on your 100 days Mrs G, if I got that right from a few days ago. I'm right on your tail !
