Pre-Game Day Tailgating Report !

WTF - Why can't they get this right. From the Killington App for today:

1. On the App 'front page', it show the temperature at 39 degrees and "mist".

2. On the Snow Report, the summary shows the same info.

3. Then, in the weather forecast for today is shows Snow, a high temperature of 30 and a low of 26.

Which is it ? Sorta makes a big difference.

Then, and I was waiting for this:

Just before opening bell, the App [and website] showed all 155 trails open. At about 10:00, this dropped to 137 trails.

Like I've said before, something they really gotta get better at.

Is it realistic to know the status of all 155 trails prior to opening?

Also if you're basing your day or dress attire on weather from a Snow Report...

There is plenty of criticize, but this is just nitpicking.

Fog. Not terrible but annoying requiring some goggle wiping. At least the snow was not sticky like the last two days.

Afternoon Report: Jim said it all, Fog ! There was a layer of clearer weather bottom half of Snowdon and upper half of North Ridge.

Mostly hero snow. ROTD Highline. Very nice at the bottom.

All the stuff in North Ridge skied well though pea soup trying to find the bottom lift station.

Cascade decent, but not the best viz.
