Afternoon Report: Another beauty of a day out there butt not warm enough to soften it up to perfection nor to form any bumps. With that said, a very good late day session in the sun !
ROTD: Late day rope drop on Panic / Needle's. Panic was a bit firm, but very good and the open section of Needle's Eye was great. Only real bumps on the mountain from what I found [since they trimmed Middle O a coupla nights ago]. Great cover and speed on the exit back to Snowshed / Superstar.
Bittersweet OK with expected late day chopped up snow. Heard Skyelark might have been a bit better.
Supe very good. Upper Headwall was stiff all day. Middle section very good. Preston's Pitch also very good with the bottom half of it perfectly softened at the end of the day.
Middle O was very good with a bit of chunky monkey AND the exit back to Superstar completely filled in ! Nice job K on that.
Best part of the day was hosting the final "ski season" Open Mic at Liquid Art in the evening with special guest Mike Salimano ! Another fun night with many great musicians including our own Skiadikt ! NOTE: After this Sunday, Liquid Art will be closed for spring break until May 23 [Thursday - Open Mic].
